We Convert Betamax to DVD for £15.00
One of the bloodiest battles in the history of video took place between VHS and Betamax in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
As a result of losing the fight, Betamax VCRs are very rare. Even if you still possess Betamax video tapes (as many people still do) it’s highly unlikely that you’ll still have the means with which to play them reliably.
Don’t worry – we can solve your copy problems in an instant. Leave it to us!
Betamax to DVD Transfer only £15.00 per tape up to 180 minutes’ duration.
We’ll copy your Betamax tape to one DVD for the single price of £15.00 regardless of the length of the recording. That means that you don’t have to worry about how long the recordings are before sending them to us.
The price includes:
- the DVD disc (single-sided, single-layer)
- title text (printed on to the white face of the disc)
- black slimline DVD library case
- printed DVD case title inlay insert.
Note also that the off-tape signals are electronically processed by a broadcast TV grade Timebase Corrector in order to stabilise the recordings during playback and to restore their wobbly sync pulses. We’ll also adjust the colour, luminance, black level and sound levels as required too.
Additional copies of any recording (up to 120 mins in length) on DVD are priced at £5.00 each when ordered at the same time as the transfer or £7.50 at a later date.
Auto-run DVDs with Auto Chapter Marks
All DVDs are designed to auto-run when inserted into a DVD player and are created with Auto Chapter Marks (at roughly 5 mins intervals). The title of your new disc is then printed directly onto the white surface of the DVD. DVD titles will assume the individual titles of the source tapes unless otherwise advised. Normally, we will retain a “disc image” file for each DVD for a period of 30 days; this we do in case of a faulty copy or loss in transit, etc., enabling us to make a replacement copy for you if required.
Return Post & Packing, using 1st Class Recorded Delivery, is charged at cost. If you wish, please send the tapes to us first in order that we can then work out a total cost for you. Payment can then be made via PayPal (prefered), by Bank Electronic Transfer or by Cheque. We will supply details before commencement.
